PAST SHOWS Crimes of the Heart COMMITS "CRIMES OF THE HEART" BERLIN (September 4 - October 10, 2009) - The Connecticut Cabaret Theatre is pleased to announce its production of the Beth Henley's Pulitzer Prize and the New York Drama Critics Circle Award winning dramatic comedy"CRIMES OF THE HEART", directed by Kris McMurray. The scene is Hazlehurst, Mississippi, where the three Magrath sisters have gathered to await news of the family patriarch, their grandfather, who is living out his last hours in the local hospital. Lenny, the oldest sister, is unmarried at thirty and facing diminishing marital prospects; Meg, the middle sister, who quickly outgrew Hazlehurst, is back after a failed singing career on the West Coast; while Babe, the youngest, is out on bail after having shot her husband The fine production staff includes Kris McMurray, Artistic Director, Matthew Collin Marrero, Public Relations Director and Resident Set Designer,Barbara Norman, Box Office Manager, Team Karen and Jackie, Stage Managers & Karen Buck, Light & Sound Technician. CRIMES OF THE HEART runs every Friday and Saturday at 8:00pm from September 4th thru October 10th, 2009. Doors open at 7:15pm.Tickets are now on sale. MasterCard and Visa are accepted.
