YOU’RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN
By Willy Russell
FEBRUARY 22 thru MARCH 29, 2008

A program note says that the time of the action is "an average day in the life of Charlie Brown." It really is just that. This delightful musical comedy, based on the world-famous Charles Schulz comic strip "Peanuts," reveals an average day in the life of Charlie Brown, his sister Sally and his friends Linus, Schroeder, Lucy and Snoopy. A day made up of little moments picked from all the days of Charlie Brown, from Valentine's Day to the baseball season, from wild optimism to utter despair, all mixed in with the lives of his friends and strung together on the string of a single day, from bright uncertain morning to hopeful starlit evening. YOU’RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN is fast-paced and lighthearted, and guaranteed to please audiences of all ages. Filled with wonderful songs that will touch your heartstrings and your funny bone, such as My Blanket and Me, My New Philosophy, Suppertime and of course, the title song! Winner of the Drama Desk Award for Best Revival, this musical will surely win you over, over and over again!

BERMUDA AVENUE TRIANGLE
By Renee Taylor and Joseph Bologna
APRIL 4 thru MAY 10, 2008

This outrageous comedy was a hilarious hit on Broadway. It concerns the adventures of a Jewish widow and an Irish widow whose successful daughters move them to Las Vegas, where they share a retirement village condo. On an excursion, they are saved from a mugger by a charming if not quite sober gambler who is short on cash. They allow him to curl up on the living room floor and he manages to sweet talk his way into both ladies' beds. Each situation is rife with the outrageous, excessive comedy that endears these playwrights to audiences everywhere. This hysterical and funny show proves there is life after 65! BERMUDA AVENUE TRIANGLE is a show not to miss!

THE GRASS HARP
Book and Lyrics by Kenward Elmslie, Music by Claibe Richardson Based on the novel by Truman Capote
MAY 16 thru JUNE 21, 2008

This 1971 musical has long been considered among enthusiasts as one of the lost treasures of the musical theater. Kept alive largely thanks to the extraordinary cast recording featuring an incandescent Barbara Cook, THE GRASS HARP is an intimate tale of fascinating characters carried on the wings of a ravishing score. The title refers to the wind rustling though fields of tall grass – “a harp of voices telling stories." This story tells of Dollyheart, a sweet-natured spinster with a secret receipt for an elixir cure, and her demanding sister, Verena, who is determined to exploit the recipe for her own purposes. When tensions rise, Dollyheart leaves her sister’s house with their orphaned teenage nephew and black housekeeper in tow to take up residence in a tree house. It isn’t long before other outcasts join their extended family including the revivalist Babylove and the children who comprise her Miracle Show, and the dearly eccentric Judge Cool. The deep emotional currents of these shifting relationships lead to an uplifting, compelling reconciliation. THE GRASS HARP is a Broadway cult favorite and anyone who has experienced its emotional tug and exhilarating score easily understands why.
