Jeanne Caillouette

Jeanne is our talented ingénue. With her beautiful voice, it’s no surprise she received her Masters Degree in Music Education from C.C.S.U. and teaches in the Meriden School System. She has also studied with the late Hilda Riggio and Carmel Harris. Much of her theatrical training and experience has come from working and performing with director Kris McMurray for the past 10 years. Jeanne has performed in over 20 musicals, and when asked what her favorite role is, she couldn’t choose. Each role she has portrayed has held a special place in her heart. Being the daughter of a music teacher/professional bassoon player/ piano tuner, Jeanne was constantly surrounded by musical influence as a child. Her parents loved Broadway, so the house was filled with show tunes, Liza Minelli and Barbra Streisand. Jeanne has played many leading roles including “Maria” in The Sound of Music, “Judy Denmark” in Ruthless, “Sarah” in No Way To Treat A Lady, “Julie Jordan” in Carousel, “Eva Peron” in Evita, and “Cherry Barnum” in the Cabaret’s opening show Barnum. And those are just to name a few. Her dream role is to play “Eliza Doolittle” in My Fair Lady, and portray her evolution of going from a London urchin to a classy lady of society. Her words of advice: “Appreciate everything in your life, big and small.” Simple, but true. |

The Connecticut Cabaret Theatre is thrilled with the response to its new show "THE WILDEST! Hip, Cool and Swinging!!!", directed and produced by Kris McMurray, conceived and written by Randy Johnson, Thomas Porras, Luanne Prima & Toni Elizabeth Prima.
This exciting new musical features nearly 40 tunes performed with HIGH ENERGY on stage with a live band, including "I've Got You Under My Skin," "Just a Gigolo/I Ain't Got Nobody," "That Old Black Magic," "Sing, Sing, Sing," and "I Wish You Love." Louis Prima and Keely Smith's musical sounds and style defined an era that has transcended generations and has become timeless in its appeal, and this cast is giving it their all to fill their monumental shoes .
