Matthew Collin joined the CT Cabaret family back in 1999 as an eager, inexperienced 19 year old. Since then, he has grown from painting the sets to designing them, from running the lights and sound on the stage to starring on it. Matthew Collin is what many of the Cabaret patrons call the "man of many hats". Always on the move, Matthew is always busy working hard on some aspect of the theatre. Matthew is the Artistic Director and Creator of CT Cabaret youth show STARMAKERS. MC is the Resident Choreographer for most of the Cabarets shows. In 2001, he was promoted to the theatres Public Relations Director, and he quickly set to work to help spread the word about the Cabaret. MC has gotten photos and coverage of shows and performers in numerous publications throughout the years. He has been performing since he was 13, in various shows throughout the state. He has been studying dance since he was 18 at the Nutmeg Performing Arts Center in Bristol, University of Hartford (formerly DanceCT). He is also is a company member of stop/time dance theatre.     The Connecticut Cabaret Theatre is thrilled with the response to its new show "THE WILDEST! Hip, Cool and Swinging!!!", directed and produced by Kris McMurray, conceived and written by Randy Johnson, Thomas Porras, Luanne Prima & Toni Elizabeth Prima. This exciting new musical features nearly 40 tunes performed with HIGH ENERGY on stage with a live band, including "I've Got You Under My Skin," "Just a Gigolo/I Ain't Got Nobody," "That Old Black Magic," "Sing, Sing, Sing," and "I Wish You Love." Louis Prima and Keely Smith's musical sounds and style defined an era that has transcended generations and has become timeless in its appeal, and this cast is giving it their all to fill their monumental shoes .
