Matthew Collin joined the CT Cabaret family back in 1999 as an eager, inexperienced 19 year old. Since then, he has grown from painting the sets to designing them, from running the lights and sound on the stage to starring on it. Matthew Collin is what many of the Cabaret patrons call the "man of many hats". Always on the move, Matthew is always busy working hard on some aspect of the theatre. MC is the Resident Choreographer for most the Cabaret's shows. In 2001, he was promoted to the theatre's Public Relations Director, and he quickly set to work to help spread the word about the Cabaret. MC has gotten photos and coverage of shows and performers in numerous publications throughout the years. He has been performing since he was 13, in various shows throughout the state. He has been studying dance since he was 18 at the Nutmeg Performing Arts Center in Bristol, University of Hartford (formerly DanceCT) and from Caroline's Dance Center where he also teaches. He is also is one of the newest members of the stop/time dance theatre. Visit
